Lora focuses her practice primarily on insurance defense litigation, managing cases involving motor vehicle accidents, slip/trip and falls, wrongful death, product liability, medical/dental malpractice, employment law and workers’ compensation, insurance coverage, and bad faith. She is a former prosecutor for the City of Las Vegas and has acted as a judge pro tempore for Henderson Municipal Court since October 2011. Lora volunteers as a judge for moot court competitions at the undergraduate level. Lora began working in Boston insurance defense firms in 1986 as a paralegal. After law school, she became a prosecutor where she enhanced her understanding of evidentiary rules and trial procedure. Prior to joining Messner Reeves LLP, Lora was a managing attorney handling not only all aspects of her law practice and day-to-day case management but also administrative and business matters of the firm.
