Lucille M. Barbato was born and raised in The Bronx. She started her career in law as a legal secretary in 1975 while in high school. She later became a paralegal and worked her way through college and law school.
She graduated from Pace School, receiving her Doctorate of Law in June of 1984. For the past 20 years, she has been active in the courts as a practicing attorney and trial lawyer specializing in personal injury cases.
Ms. Barbato has conducted trials resulting in many 6- and 7-figure settlements and verdicts. She is dedicated to the community and believes that all people deserve the representation of an attorney who is not only experienced, but concerned and compassionate as well.
Ms. Barbato has served on the Board of Directors and is a past president of The Bronx County Bar Association. In addition, she is a past chairperson of the Judiciary Screening Committee. She is also a member of NYS Trial Lawyers Association and Women's Bar Association and is married to Charles Spiegel.
