Born in Caracas, Venezuela to Cuban immigrant parents who, in 1960, fled the tyranny of the Castro regime, Marilyn Sánchez-Osorio is the embodiment of the American dream. Her family moved to the United States in 1978. Mrs. Sánchez-Osorio had a stellar academic career in South Florida, attending Florida International University, where she graduated cum laude with a double major in Political Science and International Relations. Mrs. Sánchez-Osorio went on to attend Nova Southern University Sheppard Broad Law Center, where she obtained her Juris Doctor degree graduating with Honors in 2000. After working for a local immigration law firm, Mrs. Sánchez-Osorio opened her own law firm in Miami in late 2001 focusing on Immigration Law. Upon a successful ten-year run, the firm ceased operations and Mrs. Sánchez-Osorio went into private practice. Residing in the Atlanta metro area since 2018, Sánchez-Osorio Immigration Law, PC has opened its doors in Norcross, a Northeastern suburb of Atlanta.
