For over 25 years, Mark Cobb has been a leader in the field of Construction Law. Born in Pensacola, Florida and educated at Washington & Lee University School of Law, Mark began his practice representing a national supplier of heavy equipment. Decades later, he still represents that supplier, but he has added owners, developers, design professionals, general contractors and subcontractors to his book of clients. Consequently, Mark understands his clients' business goals as well as their legal rights . He recently edited a 50-State Lien Law Handbook published by the ABA and has written and lectured on construction contracts, Miller Act claims, and Georgia materialmen's lien law. He has also been a pioneer in Georgia's Subcontractor law. As a strategic partner with his clients, Mark assists with developments, construction contracting, defaults and defects as well as payment issues. He is a seasoned mediator, arbitrator and third-party neutral.
