Mr. VonderHaar is the principal of MRV Law Inc., a firm that specializes in insurance bad faith, insurance coverage, risk transfer, and contracts. The firm was established in 2017. Mark is a 2016-2019 Best Lawyer and has a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Review Rating. His experience with insurance-related legal issues includes analysis of insurance coverage issues, providing opinion letters, drafting of underwriting and policy forms for the construction industry, representation of loss portfolio transfer companies, and representation of policy holders and judgment creditors in bad faith actions. Mark is an active member of the American Bar Association Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section, and CLM Claims College. He is a graduate of the Litigation Management Institute, certified by Harvard Law School PIL Mediation Program, and he attended Pepperdine Law Alternative Dispute Resolution Program. Mark received his law degree from the University of Minnesota, where he also distinguished himself as a student-athlete and Williams Scholar.
