Licensed in 2009, Maxey has tried over 40 jury trials with a multi-figure verdict across the board.
Before law school, Maxey received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts-Boston and did her post-graduate work in neuroscience at Harvard University. In 2008, Maxey received her law degree from the Texas Tech School of Law.
In addition to her interest in the law, in 2014 she ran for the U.S. Senate, and has been a tireless advocate for numerous causes.
Maxey has received various awards and accolades and has been asked to sit on different boards for the State of Texas and to speak on topics ranging from trucking law to traumatic brain injury. She is licensed in Texas, New Mexico and Illinois.
