Michael graduated from the University of Michigan with high honors in 1976 and from the University of Detroit School of Law cum laude in 1979. He devoted his first ten years of practice to personal injury trial work. It is believed that a one-million-dollar jury verdict in Kalkaska County may have been the largest personal injury verdict at the time. Mr. Bingen gradually expanded his practice to include business and commercial litigation; contract cases; and probate litigation. During this time, he also expanded his practice to include non-litigation civil matters.
