Miriam Acosta Castriz is a partner of Acosta & Fraga Law, a boutique style law firm in Lake Worth, Florida. Born in Miami, she received her undergraduate from the University of Oklahoma and her law degree from the Oklahoma City University School of Law. She started her career in 1995 as an attorney for the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County and since 1998 she has concentrated her practice exclusively to the field of Immigration and Nationality Law.
Currently she serves as the Chapter Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association South Florida. Throughout her distinguished career, she has demonstrated her commitment to being a leader in her profession, her community and numerous professional organizations. She is dedicated to education as a member of the committee for the annual AILA CLE in Miami, teaching at the FAU honors college and a frequent speaker at immigration conferences.
