Monica received her Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude from Duke University in 1985 and her law degree with honors from Fordham University in 1990. While Monica has extensive litigation experience, she firmly believes that parties and their children benefit immensely when settlements can be reached without court intervention. She now devotes her time exclusively to mediation and collaborative law. Monica is committed to educating attorneys and the public to the benefits of resolving disputes through alternative dispute resolution techniques. Monica is a member of and former Director of the New York Association of Collaborative Professionals. She has trained extensively in mediation and collaborative practice and completed numerous intensive training programs offered by: The Bar Association of New York City; United States Postal Service (workplace mediation); the Center for Mediation and Law, the New York Association of Collaborative Professionals, the Family and the Divorce Mediation Council of Greater New York and Parents in Action
