Nathaniel W. Bax (Nathan) is the managing partner of the ERISA and Insurance Law Division of the Foster Law Firm LLC. In his many years at Foster Law Firm, he has handled thousands of ERISA and insurance benefits claims, representing individuals from almost every state in the country. Nathan has represented individuals, medical providers, and hospitals in a variety of matters including denied short term disability, long term disability, health insurance, life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment, retirement/pension claims, long term care policy claims, and severance benefits claims. He has also handled and litigated many non-ERISA issues involving private insurance companies, non-ERISA governed employee benefits plans, investor fraud, insurance fraud, and FINRA arbitrations. He has regularly handled these claims through litigation in the Administrative Law Court, South Carolina Federal District Court, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
