Patricia A. Rooney, a member of the Construction and Commercial Arbitration Panels of the American Arbitration Association, is a respected litigator and elder law attorney with experience in construction law, elder law and trusts and estates. A graduate of Touro College Law Center, she was Valedictorian of her class and Research Editor of the Law Review. Presently the Co-Chairperson of the New York State Bar Association’s Construction and Surety Law Division and the Editor of Deconstruction, the Division’s Newsletter, Pat is also a member of the NYSBA’s Trusts/Estates Section and Elder Law/ Special Needs Section and the Dispute Resolution Section. Actively involved in the ABA, she is also a member of the ABA’s Forum on Construction Law and was recently appointed by the ABA to serve on the ABA’s Solo, Small Firm and General Practice Division’s Construction Law, Litigation and Tort and Insurance Practice Committees. Pat teaches Construction Law at Touro and has also taught Constitutional Law and Tort Law in the L.L.M.
