Patrick C. McGuinness has established a solo practice law firm in 2005 which he has grown to include two attorneys and six full-time paralegals and support staff. His goal has been to offer a wide range of professional but reasonably priced legal services to the immigrant community.

Mr. McGuinness is a graduate of Siena College (1984) and Brooklyn Law School (1997) and has been an admitted attorney in New Jersey and New York for over twenty (20) years.

After graduating college, Mr. McGuinness spent two summers in the Dominican Republic learning Spanish and began what has turned out to be a life-long quest to better understand Latino culture. He then spent one winter in El Paso, Texas as a volunteer for a non-profit organization providing sustenance and legal support to individuals entering the United States from Central American and Mexico who were seeking a better life and/or fleeing violence.

After graduating from law school in 1997, he worked as a litigator at a major New York law firm for approximately five (5) years before returning to his roots specializing in immigration law.

Mr. McGuinness has diverse experience in the immigration area ranging from assisting individuals in: obtaining O-1, H-1B and L-1 employment visas; securing amnesty in the 1980s; and defending against deportation and removal.

Mr. McGuinness firmly believes the United States has greatly benefited from its immigrants and he is committed to assisting them through the labyrinthine immigration system and otherwise helping them in successfully adjusting to life in this country.
