Peter S. Title is a partner in the New Orleans law firm of Sessions, Fishman, Nathan, & Israel, LLC, where he has practiced since 1976 primarily in real estate law and commercial transactions. Mr. Title has written and lectured extensively on Louisiana real estate law and title examinations for continuing legal education programs and for the Louisiana Land Title Association and has authored a two-volume treatise on Louisiana real estate law entitled Louisiana Real Estate Transactions, which is updated annually. He is a fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys and is included in the 2019-20 edition (as well as in twenty prior editions) of The Best Lawyers in America, recognized for expertise in Louisiana real estate. He is a member of the Council of the Louisiana State Law Institute and in December 2013, he was named awarded recognition by the Louisiana Land Title Association as its outstanding title attorney for the year.
