Born in Odessa, Texas, as the middle child to a father and mother who owned their own machine shop, Robbie learned the value of loyalty, hard work, and dedication from an early age. As a single mother, she works hard at instilling those same values in her daughter. It was during a part time job for a Criminal Defense Lawyer while attending Odessa High School that Robbie knew she was going to be a Criminal Defense Lawyer. After graduating from Angelo State University, she attended St. Mary’s University School of Law. The internship she began in Law School became her first full-time job as a lawyer in the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office. Because of her hard work, intelligence and skills as a trial lawyer, she was quickly promoted to a high-ranking Felony Prosecutor in the family violence division. While at the District Attorney’s Office, she was recruited by the United States Attorney’s Office. After being a Federal Prosecutor, she became the First Assistant in the Ector County Attorney’s office. After two years as the second in charge of the Ector County Attorney’s Office, she returned to San Antonio. Upon her return to San Antonio to enter into private practice, several of the top Criminal Defense Lawyers made employment offers to her. She chose to become partners at Calfas Law Group, PLLC, and went into action. In her first year, she got a murder case dismissed, as well as dismissals in several other cases. She has litigated numerous Jury Trials, and secured multiple “Not Guilty” verdicts. Robbie has represented Medical Doctors, Lawyers, other professionals, Bandidos, and individuals from all walks of life, in both State and Federal Court. She is regularly recognized as one of the very best lawyers in her field. While working in her various roles as a prosecutor, she was the one who other prosecutors went to for guidance. Now as a Criminal Defense Lawyer, she is the Lawyer that people go to if they have been arrested or accused of a state or federal crime.
