Robert J. He also assists in negotiations for the sale and purchase of copyright termination interests, and the sale and or licensing of songs, publishing, and music catalogs.

In addition to helping his clients monetize their music catalogues, Mr. Allan negotiates agreements for name, image, and likeness rights, and life story rights for documentary and film projects.
He also advises clients with negotiations for the sale and purchase of artwork for collectors and investors.
He serves as general counsel for many of his clients, providing both litigation and transactional advice. Mr. Allan's experience as the President and CEO of public and private corporations, provides him with a unique insight into the complexities of running a global business and the ability to forecast the challenges many businesses face.

Mr. Allan previously founded the USA China Law Group, an organization that provided legal and strategic business advice to US individuals and entities looking to establish and grow a business presence in China, or from China to establish and grow a business presence in the US. The Group advised clients on litigation matters, commercial collections, intellectual property issues and consulted with international institutional investors on ways to invest in the Non-Performing Loan and Distressed Debt Market in China.

Mr. Allan authored an article titled "The Conflicted Duty of Chinese Lawyers", which was published in the National Law Journal and co-authored an article titled "Forensic Sourcing in China," which outlines strategies for successful compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act in China. Mr. Allan is a frequent speaker and he has made presentations at the Director's College at Stanford Law School, the CEO roundtable in Beijing, UCLA Law School, USC Law School and the Santa Monica Bar Association.
