With more than 30 years of experience representing clients in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases in the commercial trucking, products liability, and other casualty fields, Mr. Morgenstern is recognized as one of the most successful and accomplished trial attorneys in the industry. After earning his bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1977, Robert Morgenstern relocated with his family to Southern California. Adapting to his new home, Mr. Morgenstern enrolled in Southwestern University Law School, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1980. Mr. Morgenstern has been recognized by Loyola Law Schools Civil Justice Program as a Champion of Justice in 2017 and has continually named by SuperLawyer Magazine as being in the top 5 percent of attorneys in his field in since 2009. He has served as President of the California Defense Counsel in 2013; is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers; and is a Advocate of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), where he has participated as a lecturer in their Masters in Trial programs. In 2018, Mr. Morgenstern served at the Vice President of the Los Angeles Chapter of ABOTA and will assume the role of President in 2019. Mr. Morgenstern also served as President of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel in 2009, and is former Chairman of the Board of Hathaway Children's and Family Services.
