Ruben R. Ramirez is a decorated war veteran, former chemistry teacher, and lifelong South Texan. Ruben was born in the Rio Grande Valley and grew up in Edinburg, Texas, in humble beginnings, raised by a loving grandmother and father who taught him the values of integrity, hard work, and patriotism.
Ruben served in the U.S. Army and volunteered to deploy to Afghanistan to secure our freedom. While deployed to the war zone, Ruben was recognized with a battlefield promotion and the prestigious Bronze Star Medal for his leadership and contributions. After being honorably discharged, he attended the University of Houston Law Center where he earned his Juris Doctor (law) degree.
Today, Ruben is the managing attorney for the Ruben R. Ramirez Law Firm PLLC in McAllen, TX—a firm that focuses on personal injury cases. Ruben uses his trial skills and insurance defense experience to fight for his clients across Texas who suffered personal injuries at the hands of negligent people and corporations. Ruben is proud to have recovered MILLIONS of dollars year after year for his satisfied clients. This year Ruben was named to Super Lawyers’ 2025 Rising Stars list, a list that less than 2.5% of eligible lawyers in each state are selected to.
