Russ was admitted to the California Bar in 1994 after receiving his J.D. in 1994 after receiving undergraduate degrees from Brigham Young University in International Relations and Spanish. For the first many years of practice, Russ practiced exclusively plaintiff's civil litigation, handling wrongful death, medical malpractice, personal injury, product defect, insurance bad faith and premises liability matters. In 2012, Russ expanded his practice to include family law. He is a Certified Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, a distinction that reflects his exceptional knowledge, skill, and dedication in this demanding field.
