Shane Anderies, founding partner at Anderies & Gomes, LLP, represents employers in all aspects of workplace law and related litigation throughout California. He specializes in defending employee claims for: 1) Wrongful termination of employment based on allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and breach of contract; 2) individual, representative, and class action claims for unpaid wages, overtime, and misclassification of salaried, exempt employees and independent contractors; and 3) trade secret disputes involving claims of employee misappropriation of employer confidential, proprietary and trade secret information. Mr. Anderies is past President and Board Member of both the Marin HR Forum and the Professional Association of Sonoma County (PASCO), professional non-profit organizations committed to the education and advancement of Human Resources employees. He is a Senior member of the Guardsmen, a San Francisco non-profit organization devoted to raising money to send underprivileged, inner-city youth to summer camps and to offer them educational scholarships. He is also a current and founding member of 100 People Who Care – Marin County, a non-profit giving circle whose mission is to increase the visibility and funding of Marin’s local, non-profit community. Mr. Anderies is a Bay Area native, received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of San Francisco, is based out of San Francisco, and currently lives in Marin with his wife and two young boys.
