Shyama S. Parikh the owner of Shyama S. Parikh, PC and has almost exclusively practiced Family law her entire career. She has successfully represented families in Divorce cases, Parenting time issues, Adoptions, Child Support matters as well as many other family law issues. In addition to being an Attorney, she is also a Court approved Arbitrator, Mediator, Child Representative and Guardian ad Litem. Shyama is also very active in the legal community and recently finished her term as the President of the Association of Women Attorneys of Lake County. She is the current Secretary for the Lake County Bar Association and the Secretary/Treasurer for the Jefferson Inns of Court. Shyama strongly believes in giving back to society and volunteers as a Teen Court Judge for(NICASA), is on the Teen Court Advisory Board, is the Secretary of her Home Owners Association in Lake Forest, Illinois and previously served on the Board of Directors for the YWCA, Lake County.
