Stacey L. Heinonen graduated from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) in 1993 with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and as a James B. Angell Scholar. She then attended Valparaiso University School of Law, earning her Juris Doctorate in 1996 and has been licensed to practice law in Michigan since 1996. Throughout her career, Ms. Heinonen has practiced extensively in the areas of automobile no-fault and property insurance law. She maintains an active appellate practice and has helped shape the law governing the insurance industry, regularly appearing before state and federal appellate courts. After working several years on behalf of insurance companies, Ms. Heinonen joined the Mike Morse Law Firm to advocate for injury victims and redefine the law in their favor. In addition to the state and federal courts located in Michigan, Ms. Heinonen is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.
