Stephanie Richards Family and Divorce Law

Stephanie Richards grew up in a small town on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, located on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay. In 2011, she received her B.A. in Political Science from Salisbury University in Maryland. After graduation, Stephanie obtained a Post-Bachelor's Legal Certification from Wilmington University in Delaware.

Stephanie moved to Charleston, South Carolina in 2014 to attend the Charleston School of Law. While in law school, Stephanie served as a member of the Moot Court Board, Federal Courts Law Review, and Charleston Law Review. Her law review article: Death with Dignity: The Right, Choice, and Power of Death by Physician-Assisted Suicide was published by the Charleston Law Review in the Spring of 2017. While in law school, Stephanie pursued her passion for service with internships with the First Circuit Solicitor's Office in Summerville, South Carolina and the United States Attorney's Office in Charleston, South Carolina. Stephanie received her J.D. in May 2017 and is an active member of the South Carolina Bar.
