Stephen was born and raised in Liberia, West Africa. At an early age, his life and dreams were disrupted by a protracted 14-year civil war that devastated the nation, destroyed countless lives, and shattered many aspirations. As a result of the conflict, Stephen and his family fled to neighboring Ghana, where he lived until relocating to the United States to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a lawyer.
With 13 years of legal practice, Stephen’s journey has profoundly shaped his legal philosophy and continues to guide the way he approaches every matter he handles and every client he represents. Having experienced adversity firsthand, he understands the importance of advocacy, resilience, and having legal representation.
