I am a frequent Court Appointee and serves in the fiduciary capacity of Court Evaluator, Counsel to alleged incapacitated persons, Guardian ad Litem and Guardian, as well as Special Counsel in specific litigation matters. I am past Co-Chair of the Social Security/SSI Committee of the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar Association, and a member in good standing of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Elder Law section of the New York State Bar Association, the Trusts and Estates section of the New York State Bar Association, the Health, Advocacy & Disability section of the Nassau County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. I am a frequent lecturer on elder law and disability law, have been a guest professor for Continuing Adult Education classes, and appeared on the radio regarding seniors and persons with disabilities.
