Experienced attorney with over two decades of practice experience. Steve was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Marine Corps in 1987 upon graduation from the US Naval Academy in Annapolis. Steve served on active duty for five years, including combat action in Desert Storm. After leaving active duty, Steve worked for a large corporation in Los Angeles for a year before going to law school. Steve remained in the Marine Reserve until 2007, retiring as a lieutenant colonel. Steve graduated from the Salmon P Chase College of Law in 1996 and began practicing in Ohio. After relocating to Maryland in 2000, Steve was corporate counsel and eventually made his way back to private practice. From 2011 to 2015, Steve was an assistant state's attorney.
