Tom, the second of eight children, was born in Boston and has lived the four corners of the U.S. including California, Texas, Hawaii and Georgia before moving back to the New England area.
Tom enrolled in Loyola College in Montreal, Quebec, Canada where he received his B.A. cum laude, in June of 1977 from Concordia University-Loyola Campus. He pursued history courses at Boston College, accounting courses at Merrimack College and French language courses at the Universite de Montreal.
Upon graduation from Concordia University, Tom began his legal training at McGill University in Montreal and graduated from Suffolk University Law School in Boston in June 1981. Post-graduation, he began practicing law with Timothy Schiavoni of Haverhill, MA, before setting up as NAGLE & MacMILLAN in Haverhill, MA. In January of 1988, he helped establish the firm of SHEEHAN, SCHIAVONI, MOORADIAN & MacMILLAN, before setting up his own law office in Bradford, Massachusetts, where he has been since 1989.
Tom is a seasoned trial lawyer and concentrates his practice in litigation. He has handled cases in Massachusetts and New Hampshire district, probate/family, land, superior and appellate courts, including the New Hampshire Supreme Court, and in the Federal District Courts of both Massachusetts and New Hampshire, as well as appearing before local Planning Boards, Conservation Commissions and Zoning Boards.
