Virginia’s practice is centered upon assisting business and banking clients with all aspects of their legal needs including but not limited to business formation and operations, contracts, mergers or asset sales, employment law including personnel matters of all types, employment contract drafting and litigation, construction contract negotiation and arbitration and environmental issues. She has experience advising business clients and individual employees regarding employment discrimination and harassment claims, Fair Labor Standard Act claims including class actions, ADA and FMLA claims and virtually all aspects of the employer/employee relationship. She also has assisted clients mergers and acquisitions and in raising capital through Reg. D private placements. Virginia has handled complex civil litigation in most State and Federal courts. In 2020 Virginia was unanimously approved as county attorney by the Floyd County Commission.
