William Cromwell Civil Litigation

William G. “Bill” Cromwell was born in Buffalo, New York. After graduating Emory University, he earned a law degree at Mercer University and was admitted to the bar in 1985. He began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Chatham County, (Savannah) Georgia. He left Savannah to work for Mike Bowers as an Assistant Attorney General defending the Georgia DOT in catastrophic injury cases. Since leaving the Attorney General’s office in 1992, he has represented hundreds of clients injured due to medical malpractice or auto accidents and those who have been falsely accused of serious crimes. Mr. Cromwell is one of several lawyers from around the country who served as lead counsel in the prosecution and defense of major financial fraud cases arising during the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. A dedicated trial attorney, Bill has tried over 100 cases to verdict.
