Jake Cohen is a practicing first-chair trial attorney at Bisnar Chase who deals with civil litigation cases for plaintiffs and consumers. It could also involve helping people on a wider scale by obtaining verdicts against exploitative corporations, forcing them into better practices. Jake is always ready to put his skills to use to protect the rights of his clients and make the world a safer place. Most of the cases he handles involve serious accidents and injuries. These include (but are not limited to) car crashes and other auto incidents, dog attacks, trip or slip-and-fall injuries, and dangerous and defective products. Jake grew up in Venice Beach, California, and graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a BA in political science. He then graduated Cum Laude with his Juris Doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego. He has worked full-time from the age of 16 until he completed law school to finance his education. Jake’s various roles included working as a personal trainer, in restaurants, and in hospitality. Jake takes great satisfaction from balancing the scales of justice. He said: “I believe in holding wrongdoers accountable and forcing them to compensate those they injure. I get the chance to fight for victims, as well as deterring future misconduct, making the world a safer place.” Jake Cohen is licensed to practice law in California and Nevada. His first legal experience came as a law clerk with a criminal defense firm. However, after passing the bar, he committed himself to plaintiff-side litigation, supporting clients who had suffered serious injuries. Throughout his career so far, he has recovered millions of dollars for personal injury victims, developing his skills as an accomplished jury trial lawyer. Whether helping individuals or groups of people under a class action, Jake is passionate about fighting for justice for those who have been wronged. Nicole Cointreau is a California-licensed attorney with experience handling a diverse array of intricate litigation cases at both the state and federal levels. She has skillfully managed various legal matters, including breach of contract, securities disputes, business torts, insurance coverage issues, wrongful death matters, and tenants’ rights. Ms. Cointreau boasts an impressive track record of successfully resolving cases through dispositive motions, such as motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss, and demurrers.

Michael N. Colacci is a distinguished attorney with a robust background in personal injury, criminal defense, and municipal court law. He currently serves as the Managing Member of Colacci Law Firm, L.L.C., with locations in Bridgewater and Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Mr. Colacci’s legal acumen and expertise have garnered him recognition as a New Jersey Super Lawyers - Rising Star in Plaintiff’s Personal Injury from 2021 through 2025. Furthermore, his commitment to providing an unparalleled client experience has earned him recognition as a Martindale-Hubbell Platinum Client Champion in 2024 and 2025. Mr. Colacci holds a Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School and a Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University. During law school, he served as an Associate New Developments Editor for the RUTGERS JOURNAL OF LAW AND RELIGION, where he was published for his article on the Sovereign Citizen Movement. He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York.

Born and raised in Naples, FL, Sam is a Partner attorney at Woods, Weidenmiller, Michetti and Rudnick, where he concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial and residential real property transactions, as well as corporate and commercial lending. Prior to joining the Firm, Sam practiced at a boutique real estate firm, as well as a nationally recognized commercial law firm, both located in the Southwest Florida area. He completed his schooling in Boston, MA, receiving his Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University, and earning his Juris Doctor, as well as an MBA in Finance, from Suffolk University. During his time in Boston, Sam helped to manage the operations department of a national litigation firm, as well as worked in various capacities for several financial institutions and the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Sam currently serves on the board of directors for the Cancer Alliance Network, Inc. (formerly, the Cancer Alliance of Naples), an organization devoted to helping children, families and individuals throughout Collier and Lee counties that have been touched by Cancer by providing financial aid, support, education and information resources.
