Connie J. Flores is a founding partner of Flores Mendez Law, who focuses on cases involving personal injury, including wrongful death, 18-wheeler cases, on-the-job injuries, premises liability, dram shop cases and auto collision cases throughout New Mexico, Texas and Arizona. Her mission is to help injured people who are being treated unfairly by insurance companies at a time when they need the help the most. Connie is a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas who attended the University of Denver and graduated in 2003 with honors from the National Honor Society. Connie went on to attend the University of New Mexico School of Law and graduated in 2008, where she was a recipient the Dean’s Award. During law school, Connie pursued her passion in advancing minorities in the legal field and became President of the Mexican American Law Student Association. After law school, Connie began her professional legal career at an El Paso-based plaintiff’s personal injury law firm where she had previously been a legal assistant for over eight years prior to going to law school. In 2016, she was a founding partner of Flores, Tawney & Acosta, P.C. in which she was one of the integrate reasons the firm would have four locations throughout the southwest. On October 1, 2023, Connie decided to join forces with a fellow colleague and started the law firm Flores Mendez Law with offices in El Paso and Las Cruces. Connie’s passion is mentoring teenage parents for them to continue their education. Having her first son at 15 years old, she knows how difficult it is to stay in school. Her mission is to help and support as many teenage parents as possible by sharing her obstacles and how to overcome them. Connie frequently speaks at local high schools to share her story and the adversity she overcame to become the successful woman she is today. She strongly believes that when you bless others, blessings will come to you from places you had never imagined.

William J. Flores was born and raised in Pinellas County, Florida. Before attending Stetson Law School, Wil Graduated from the Criminal Justice Academy magnet program, at Pinellas Park High School, and thereafter-attended University of South Florida, where he earned his B. A. in Criminology. Wil is also a graduate of the University of Miami Paralegal Studies Program, a former Undergraduate Intern of the Pinellas County State Attorney’s Office, and former file clerk/paralegal for an insurance defense law firm for over 2 years. During Law School Wil Worked with a local personal injury firm and graduated in May of 2014. Wil is currently a Candidate for LLM in Advocacy at Stetson Law School, and practices in the areas of Personal Injury, Criminal Defense, and Family Law in Pinellas County, Florida.

She spent the first ten years of her career defending small and medium-sized businesses in complex litigation matters in virtually every courthouse throughout Southern California. He received his B.A. from Ball State University where he was captain of the varsity soccer team and President of the University’s largest social fraternity (Sigma Phi Epsilon). He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in 1980 where he won the school Moot Court competition and was a State Moot Court finalist. He has remained actively involved with the law school since graduation, having served as an Adjunct Professor in Trial Practice. Wil has lectured to trial groups across the Country. He is licensed to practice law in the states of Texas (1980) and Florida (1982). He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. He has been Board Certified as a Civil Trial Lawyer by both The Florida Bar since 1988 and The National Board of Trial Advocacy since 1990. Wil is also Board Certified as a Civil Pretrial Practice Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
