When I entered the legal profession, I brought with me nearly twenty years of practical experience. Previously, I have proudly held positions ranging from soldier to iron worker. As an iron worker, I worked my way through the ranks, ultimately opening my own company in 1997. From 1999 to 2003 I served as an enlisted member of the United States Army. Upon discharge, I laid the groundwork to continue my service to our country as an attorney. Since 2011, I have put my experience to work at The Law Office of David R. Clark, L.L.C. to develop solutions to the issues faced by our clients.

David M. Hawthorne is a partner at the Miami-based law firm Pathman Law, LLC. I am a graduate with National University with a Bachelors Degree in Criminology, Psychology, and Pre-Law. I received my Juris Doctorate from San Joaquin College of Law. I became a member of the California Bar Association in 2017. During law school I gained several months of experience externing for Honorable Judge Blea, Tulare County Public Defender Office, Tulare District Attorney Office, and with criminal defense attorney Richard Beshwate. Prior to law school, I received a POST certification in 2003, from Fresno City College and I was gainfully employed with the Fresno Police Department as a patrol officer for several years. I began practicing Family Law and Juvenile Dependency in 2018. I have assisted clients in general family law dissolution matters, child custody and visitation, child support, spousal support, division of property, enforcement actions, and domestic violence matters.
