Amy Ruiz received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Marketing and International Economics from the University of Florida in 2000. She received her Juris Doctorate from the Florida State College of Law in 2004. While at Florida State, Ms. Ruiz was a member of the Journal of Transnational Law & Policy. She also participated in the Institute on World Legal Problems where she studied Comparative Constitutional Law at the University of Innsbruck, in Austria, with Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court Antonin Scalia. Upon graduating law school, Ms. Ruiz, a Tampa native, returned to Tampa and commenced working as an Assistant Public Defender for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit. She worked as an Assistant Public Defender from 2004 to 2006 and handled numerous motions, hearings, non-jury trials, and jury trials. In 2006, Ms. Ruiz accepted a position as an Assistant State Attorney for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit and served there until 2011. As a prosecutor, Ms. Ruiz handled thousands of cases ranging from misdemeanors to first degree felonies punishable by life. She litigated hundreds of motions, hearings, bench trials, and jury trials. In 2011, Ms. Ruiz accepted a position with a law firm that practiced exclusively in insurance defense. Ms. Ruiz attended mediations and motion hearings for personal injury and bodily injury cases, in addition to working extensively on Chinese Drywall Multi-District Litigation. Ms. Ruiz is licensed to practice law in both State Court and Federal Court in Florida. She is also a native Spanish speaker and is active amongst the Hispanic community in the Tampa Bay area.

David Rumley is a trial lawyer. In 2002, David and Jeff obtained a verdict against Ford Motor Company, which was reported as one of the largest awards of actual damages in Texas history and the largest award of compensatory damages against Ford Motor Company, according to The Detroit News. In his product liability practice, David specializes in defective tire litigation. He has handled more than 50 tire cases across the United States against all of the major tire companies. With the discovery and development of the Eagle Ford Shale, David has handled dozens of cases against companies doing business in the Eagle Ford Shale and the Permian Basin. From drilling rig accidents, explosions and well-site incidents to fatigued drivers, 18-wheeler accidents and distracted driving, he has taken on the most powerful oil companies in the world and has obtained substantial settlements for his clients. Because he has litigated cases against nearly every major oil company in the Eagle Ford Shale and the Permian Basin, his clients benefit from his thorough knowledge of the practices and procedures of these companies and of other incidents that have occurred that can be used to establish liability against these companies for repeated and continued careless conduct. Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, Inc., in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He obtained a civil RICO, fraud and forgery verdict against all of the defendants. David continues to handle commercial litigation disputes between companies and on behalf of individuals, who have been treated unfairly by big companies. Prior to forming Wigington Rumley Dunn & Blair, LLP, David joined the defense litigation firm of Brin & Brin, PC where he quickly made partner in three years. He graduated from St. Mary’s University Law School where he was distinguished by his selection to the Editorial Board of the St. Mary’s Law Journal. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), Texas Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, and the State Bar of Texas. When not trying cases, David spends time with his family, from hunting with his boys to coaching baseball. In 2007, David and his wife, Sherry, opened the Rise School of Corpus Christi. The Rise School promotes an early intervention curriculum emphasizing special education, early childhood education and child development. The school which started with only a few children has grown so much that there is now a waiting list of children wanting to attend.

Patricia Rusch Bellucci is uniquely qualified as both an attorney and Certified Public Accountant with over 30 years of experience. She is admitted to the bar in New York and Connecticut and has a deep and established network throughout the Hudson Valley and New York Metropolitan area. With extensive experience working both as in-house counsel for Fortune 500 companies like General Electric and Pepsico, and a Big Four accounting firm, Ms. Bellucci brings a wealth of knowledge and perspective to her private practice for clients of all sizes. Ms. Bellucci was a full-time business law and taxation professor at the State University of New York at New Paltz in the undergraduate and graduate business programs and served as an adjunct business professor at Siena College and the Culinary Institute of America. For multiple years, she was both a manuscript reviewer and presenter for the Tax Section of the Northeast Regional Accounting Association. Incredibly supportive of the Pawling community and her professional associations, Ms. Bellucci has served on multiple boards at both the national and local level. Since 2006, Ms. Bellucci has served on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Attorneys-CPAs and since 2018 she has been the Tax Chair for the Westchester Women’s Bar Association. She has served as a board member for the National Society for the Gifted and Talented, Cunneen Hackett Arts Center, Pawling Community Foundation, Pawling Public Radio, The Joseph J. Famularo Foundation and the West Point Parents Club. She was the Chair of the Tax-Exempt Committee for the American Academy of Attorneys-CPAs from 2009 – 2017.
