With over 30 years of courtroom experience in Florida and throughout the U.S., Crystal is a dedicated, respected and aggressive advocate for her clients’ causes. Crystal graduated from the University of Kentucky with high honors and earned her Juris Doctor law degree from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. She gained valuable courtroom skill and experience while serving as an Assistant State Attorney for the Office of State Attorney, First Judicial Circuit of Florida, before moving into private practice. Crystal spent years representing doctors and hospital groups and has knowledge and experience of medical malpractice matters from both sides of the case. As a distinguished family law attorney, she has handled high net worth and complex divorce matters. She has shepherded notable cases through trial and appeal, including arguing before the Florida Supreme Court.

Nick was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and was raised about 20 minutes away from the city in Moorestown, New Jersey. In 2010, Nick’s parents decided to move to a beach town in Northeast Florida, and Nick immediately fell in love with the Sunshine State and the endless possibilities it has to offer. During law school, Nick gained invaluable litigation experience as a certified student-attorney for the South Carolina Juvenile Justice Clinic. He also interned at a Fortune 500 company, a personal injury law firm, and the South Carolina Office of the Attorney General. Prior to Spetsas Buist PLLC, Nick gained litigation and trial experience working for the largest insurance defense firm in Florida and, subsequently, a prominent national law firm, where he represented companies and their insurance carriers in complex civil litigation matters, including personal and catastrophic injury, premises liability, product liability, wrongful death, automobile, and trucking liability, and negligent security. Nick uses his litigation and trial experience to aggressively pursue claims on behalf of clients injured by the negligence of others. Because of the knowledge Nick gained from defending corporations and their insurance carriers, he understands their negotiation tactics and trial techniques. Now, Nick uses this knowledge against companies and their insurance carriers to maximize the value of his clients’ cases and to bring justice to his clients. Nick believes in aggressive representation and understands that communication is crucial to client satisfaction. He devotes himself to treating his clients like family.

Martin A. Spigner is a sole practitioner whose law practice concentrates in most areas of business law with an emphasis on individual, business and estate tax planning and elder law.
