Mr. Bowen received his Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Utah in 1988. He returned home to his native Idaho to attend law school at the University of Idaho. He received his Juris Doctorate in 1991. After receiving his law degree, he was selected to act as a Special Assistant to Cecil D. Andrus, Governor of Idaho in 1991, where he was the governor's liaison to five (5) State of Idaho departments, including budgeting and the governor's state agenda. He primarily practices in the areas of complex insurance litigation including but not limited to auto, premises and property claims, insurance defense, bad faith, slip-and-fall, construction defect litigation, products liability, and medical malpractice for both plaintiffs and defendants. Mr. Bowen is currently a member of the State Bar of Nevada, Clark County Bar Association, Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, Association of Trial Lawyers, and the American Bar Association. He is currently admitted to practice before all Nevada state and U.S. District courts, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Nevada Supreme Court.

Brooke Bowen specializes in high-stakes civil litigation, including catastrophic injury claims, large products liability cases, and complex commercial litigation. Brooke brings a unique perspective to her plaintiffs’ practice having spent the first decade of her career defending large, international companies and subsequently acting as in-house counsel for a major government organization. Brooke combines the skills that she gained defending these entities with her passion of helping others in order to obtain the best results for her clients – individuals and businesses who have been seriously harmed by the wrongful acts of others.

Kathy Bower is the managing partner at the Southbury branch of Gager, Bower & Scalzo, LLP. She is admitted to practice law in three states: Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. Kathy also practices in State and Federal Courts in a wide variety of civil matters. Kathy is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego and received her Juris Doctor Degree from Hofstra University School of Law. She began her legal career in 1987 at the Manhattan office of Thurm & Heller; she joined Gager in 1990 and became partner in 1994. Kathy presently serves as a Special Master in the United States District Court. She also serves as an Attorney Trial Referee Arbitrator and Fact Finder at the Superior Court. She was admitted to the United States Supreme Court in 2011.
