Courtney H. Carpenter provides representation in all matters of family law and is passionate about helping clients find the best resolution possible based on their individual goals. Thereafter, Ms. Carpenter earned a Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in 2010. During her time at Emory, she volunteered with Student Legal Services and was a participant in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society. Ms. Carpenter’s legal career has almost exclusively focused on family law since 2011. Prior to joining Burns Smith Law, Ms. Carpenter was a Partner at one of the largest family law firms in Georgia.

Ms. Carper attended West Virginia University College of Law, where she earned a Juris Doctorate degree in 2010. Ms. Carper is an Equity Partner at Goodall, Pelt, Carper & Norton, PC. Ms. Carper’s areas of practice include Litigation, Family Law, Criminal Defense and Guardian ad litem for Minor Children. Ms. Carper is a member of the Virginia State Bar and Fredericksburg Area Bar Association. Ms. Carper has been a member of Lawyers of Distinction since 2020.

Andrea N. Attorney Catalina - Attorney in Peekskill, NY Prior to starting her own Firm, Andrea began her legal career working as an Associate at a mid-sized firm in White Plains where she represented clients on a variety of issues involving matrimonial, family, custody, support, personal injury and criminal matters. In 2012, Andrea joined her father, Frank A. Catalina, Esq., in Peekskill, New York. Shortly thereafter, she started her own practice, while remaining “of counsel” to Frank, who has over thirty years of experience in the same practice areas. Andrea is a proud graduate of Pace University School of Law, graduating cum laude. Prior to law school, she graduated magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA. While in college, Andrea spent a semester traveling abroad to Spain and is conversant in Spanish. Andrea is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. The main law office is in Peekskill, New York, but she also maintains satellite offices in Monroe and White Plains, New York (by appointment only). Jeffrey is one of the founding members of Stempel, Catterson, LoFrumento, Carlson, Biondo, LLP. He commenced his legal career in 1998 specializing in all aspects of matrimonial and family law litigation, including, but not limited to: divorce, custody, support, equitable distribution, complex business valuations, modification and enforcement issues, and the negotiation and preparation of pre-nuptial agreements, post-nuptial agreements, separation agreements, and stipulations of settlements. Jeffrey has represented, and assisted in the representation of, numerous high profile and celebrity clients. He has extensive experience with respect to complex business valuations involving multi-million dollar wage earners and business owners. Jeffrey’s matrimonial and valuation articles have been published in the New York State Bar’s Family Law Review, The Suffolk Lawyer and The Nassau Attorney. He has also lectured for the New York State Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association and Suffolk County Bar Association on numerous occasions. Jeffrey’s other areas of practice include personal injury, commercial litigation, general litigation and appellate practice. His personal injury experience involves complex litigation and appellate practice regarding traumatic brain injury, automobile accidents, construction site accidents, municipal liability and slip and fall accidents. Jeffrey has successfully argued before the New York State Appellate Divisions as well as New York State’s highest Court, the Court of Appeals. Jeffrey has been selected to the New York Super Lawyers, voted a Top Attorney in New York by his peers, every year since 2013 and selected as a Top Ten Nationally Ranked Family Law Attorney by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys since 2014.
