Maria E. Dalmanieras is a partner with the Firm. She is originally from Milford, Massachusetts. Maria received her B.A. in Classics from the College of the Holy Cross in Worchester, Massachusetts and thereafter attended law school at the University of Miami where she graduated cum laude in 1999. While in law school, Maria was the Community Outreach Chairperson for Miami Law Women, and she was an editor for the law school newspaper, Res Ipsa Loquitur. Maria is a Board Certified Trial attorney by the Florida Bar. Her practice focuses in the areas of personal injury and insurance defense litigation, including construction litigation, premises liability, auto liability, products liability, legal malpractice, wrongful death litigation, indemnification, subrogation claims, first party insurance claims, and medical malpractice. She has successfully obtained numerous defense verdicts for her clients during her almost twenty years of practice and is well respected within the legal community as a trial lawyer. Her previous partnership position before joining the Firm was with Restani & Dalmanieras, P.A.

Lisa J. Damiani, named as a San Diego Super Lawyer since 2010, received her B.A. degree in 1983 from New York University and her J.D. degree in 1988 from California Western School of Law in San Diego. Ms. Damiani continued trying criminal cases and focused her civil practice on labor, employment and business litigation matters. Ms. Damiani also consults with her employer clients on lay-offs, terminations, severance agreements, misconduct, and other employment related issues to prevent potential litigation. Some of her corporate clients include Fresenius Medical Care Holdings, Inc., Equity Management Inc. and Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP. Ms. Damiani’s criminal and civil trial experience is extensive. She has practiced in various jurisdictions, including California, Idaho and Oklahoma, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and United States District Courts for the Districts of Colorado and Nevada.

Over the years I have taken custody, visitation and family offense matters to trial, divorce matters to trial, and support matters to hearing. I have represented clients in non-jury trials (where the decision is made by the judge),as well as jury trials to a verdict (an increasing rarity in these days of settled cases). David is one of the co-founding attorneys at Hills, Daniels, & Associates. David was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. At a young age, David knew he wanted to be an attorney after watching his grandmother struggle to find legal support for his family members. Making it his ultimate goal, David became an attorney so his family would no longer have to search. ? David graduated high school at L.W. Higgins High and continued his education at UNO and SUNO. Upon graduating from SUNO, David went on to attend Southern University Law School. With years of experience, David is well versed in many practice areas including Personal injury, Criminal Defense, Estate Planning, Traffic Violation, and Business Formation. Having prepared and negotiated contracts for Large Companies, and Clerking for Judge D. Nicole Shepard in Civil District Court, David started his own law firm, The Daniels Law Firm, which has since merged to form Hills Daniels and Associates.
