Katrina Eiden’s journey to becoming an attorney was forged in the fires of advocacy and the pursuit of justice. While most children were engaged in typical childhood activities, Katrina stood alongside her parents, both esteemed law professionals, in the courtroom and at rallies and protests, championing the rights of the marginalized and voiceless. Raised amidst the fervor of social justice movements, Katrina witnessed firsthand the dire need for dedicated defenders in her community. These formative experiences ignited a passion within her—a burning desire to stand up for the underdogs and fight tirelessly on their behalf. As she often reflects, “I couldn’t imagine doing anything else than fighting for the rights of others.” Hailing from San Diego, Katrina distinguished herself academically, driven by a fervent ambition to make a tangible difference in people’s lives. She found her calling in the realm of law. Katrina pursued her undergraduate studies at Howard University in Washington, D.C., graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in May 2014. During her time at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, Katrina’s commitment to advocacy only deepened. She served as President of Phi Alpha Delta Fraternityand represented the Black Law Student and Latino Law Student Associations, channeling her childhood inspirations into concrete action. Katrina’s experiences as an intern at the Maryland Attorney General’s Office and Baltimore Public Defender’s Office revealed the stark injustices entrenched within the legal system—inequities that compelled her to pursue a path to protect the rights of the voiceless following in both her mother and father’s footsteps. Upon earning her Juris Doctorate in 2017 and being admitted to the California State Bar in 2018, Katrina returned to her roots in California. She honed her skills and sharpened her resolve through service in the Riverside and Los Angeles Public Defender’s offices, where she fiercely advocated for those most in need. “I believe I am upholding the U.S. Constitution and protecting the rights of the people from being infringed on by the government, corporations, and law enforcement… I am there to make sure my client’s rights are being upheld, and I will fight tooth and nail to make sure of it,” asserts Katrina, encapsulating the core of her mission. Now, as a vital member of Dordick Law Corporation, Katrina continues her unwavering commitment to justice, using her platform to amplify the voices of the oppressed and marginalized. Her trial advocacy prowess and relentless dedication to the underdogs serve as beacons of hope in an often-daunting legal landscape.
