Chad Frese earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids in 1992. In 1996 he earned his Juris Doctor from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Mr. Frese has earned admissions to all Iowa Courts to include: the Supreme Court of Iowa, Northern District of Iowa Federal Court, Southern District of Iowa Federal Courts, U.S. Court of Appeals Eighth Circuit, and U.S. Supreme Court. He also represents the Sac and Fox Tribe of the Mississippi in Iowa’s tribal court. Prior to becoming a partner at Kaplan & Frese, LLP, in 2000, Mr. Frese practiced general law at Moon Law Office. His first position upon graduating from law school was as a Narcotics and Career Criminal Prosecutor for the Marshall and Hardin County Attorney’s Office. Chad’s 27 years of experience in the legal profession, combined with his membership in professional organizations such as the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, enable Mr. Frese to provide unparalleled legal representation to his clients.

Sandford L. Frey (“Sandy”) is a Partner with Leech Tishman Fuscaldo & Lampl, Inc. in the firm’s Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Practice Group. Based in Leech Tishman Fuscaldo & Lampl, Inc. s Pasadena office, Sandy focuses his practice on bankruptcy-related legal matters including out-of-court workouts, Chapter 11 reorganizations, bankruptcy, insolvency and lending, real estate, general corporate and transactional matters and wine law. Sandy has over 30 years of experience representing debtors, lenders, purchasers, creditors and borrowers in and out of Chapter 11 matters, as well as in business and lending transactions and loan workouts. He has very diverse experience in business and business reorganizations, not only in the Central, Northern, and Southern Districts of California, but throughout the United States. Sandy often represents borrowers in negotiating and documenting new financing, DIP loans and takeout financing.

Frick Esquire, went on to complete her undergraduate at Lees-McRae College with a B/A in Humanities and minor in International Relations and Religion, before earning her Juris Doctor from the Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, Virginia. While obtaining her undergraduate, Tracy worked with Hemphill & Gavenus, Attorneys at Law in Newland, North Carolina. During law school, Tracy served as a summer clerk at the North Carolina Court of Appeals for the Honorable John M. Tyson. Prior to opening FrickTrent, PLLC, Tracy managed the South Carolina office and served as Marketing Director for the North and South Carolina offices of Trey Inman & Associates, PC. Prior to working with Trey Inman, Tracy practiced at a The Law Offices of Brent F. King, where she oversaw the residential real estate closings and marketing initiatives in South Carolina. Before deciding to limit her area of practice to real estate, Tracy practiced family law with Melissa F. Brown, PLLC in Charleston, South Carolina.

Daniel Friedenthal graduated with honors from UCLA in 1983, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. He received his Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law in 1986. He has tried more than 60 jury trials in some of the toughest jurisdictions in California. He began his career working at a large civil defense firm, before forming his own law firm in 1999. Mr. Friedenthal has achieved the elevated rank of Advocate in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an organization of experienced trial lawyers dedicated to the promotion of civility, integrity and professionalism in trial advocacy.
