Tim J. Pollard is an attorney and the President of The Pollard Firm, a Professional Corporation. After serving as a Partner with the Orange County-based law firm TUCKER | POLLARD for eight years, Mr. Pollard left TUCKER | POLLARD and formed The Pollard Firm, APC, taking his expertise and passion for the law in a new direction. Mr. Ponist started his career as a Deputy District Attorney with the Marin County District Attorney?s Office, where he tried more than 25 misdemeanor and felony cases to verdict. Thereafter, he was the Associate General Counsel for Marcus & Millichap, one of the largest commercial real estate brokerage companies, where he handled a wide range of real estate matters. I was born in Victoria, TX and subsequently moved to Baton Rouge, LA. I graduated from Istrouma High in 1977 and went straight to work. At the age of 27, I married my husband, John. When I was 34 I had the opportunity of going to college for the first time. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1998 and then started at LSU Law School, graduating in 2001. Thereafter I passed the Louisiana State Bar Exam and have been practicing as a solo practitioner ever since, handling mostly family law, juvenile, and criminal matters. In 2004, I adopted my two sons, who are both now Eagle Scouts.
