Mr. Price graduated second in his high school class of over 700, and then did his undergraduate work at the University of California, at Los Angeles, majoring in Political Science and Business and graduating in 1989 in four years. Thereafter, Mr. Price attended and graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1992, and passed the California Bar Exam on the first try. After passing the California State Bar in 1992, he went to work for his father’s reputable Orange County law firm, Sikora & Price, where he practiced principally business litigation. In 1996, Mr. Price moved to the Sacramento area and, with fellow Pepperdine School of Law graduate Craig Ashton, formed the law firm of Ashton & Price. Mr. Price has been a member in good standing of the California State Bar since 1992, and is admitted to practice before all of the Superior Courts of California and the California Supreme Court, as well all of the Federal District and Appellate Courts of the 9th Circuit. Mr. Price has been engaged in civil litigation since passing the California State Bar in 1992. Since forming Ashton & Price, Mr. Price has successfully litigated claims involving motor vehicle accidents, big rig accidents, motorcycle accidents, pedestrian accidents, boating accidents, dog bites, products liability, premises liability and slips and falls. Mr. Price has successfully litigated cases against major corporations and trucking companies, and has successfully litigated claims against the largest insurance companies such as State Farm, Allstate, Farmers Insurance, CSAA, Liberty Mutual and Mercury. Additionally, Mr. Price has obtained significant results for his clients who have been injured as a result of the negligence of many of the largest government entities, including the Federal Government, the State of California, Regional Transit, and the City and County of Sacramento.

Area of Practice: ERISA Litigation Founding Member Nancy B. Pridgen, Esq. focuses her practice on employment litigation in the federal courts, and has handled, in some capacity, nearly every type of employment law matter that exists, including employment discrimination (age, race/nationality, gender, disability), retaliation, harassment, unemployment, FMLA, FLSA/wage and hour, ERISA/employee benefits, etc. Nancy also enjoys assisting businesses, business owners, executives and key employees navigate the waters of transitioning out of old and into new employment relationships, with all of their attendant issues (including, for instance, negotiating severance or other benefits, and drafting/negotiating new employment terms, etc.). Nancy counsels both employers and employees. Nancy sub-specializes in ERISA litigation, and has litigated scores of ERISA benefits claims and fiduciary cases throughout the country. Nancy first developed this expertise in ERISA litigation while at Alston + Bird, where she litigated numerous class actions and other complex litigation involving employee pension cases and welfare benefit claims. She has also recently served as an officer in the Georgia State Bar Employee Benefits Section. Nancy brings to clients a wealth of federal litigation experience. She has litigated a wide array of cases including complex commercial litigation, securities, insurance, tax, immigration, antitrust, constitutional and common-law torts, and civil appeals. In addition to her active trial practice, Nancy has maintained her commitment to giving back to the community by, among other things, handling several low-cost or pro bono adoptions.

Brian has over 27 years of experience representing victims of asbestos exposure. He has extensive experience handling mesothelioma and lung cancer claims. He devoted his career to helping working men and women who have been injured and has developed a vast knowledge of asbestos-containing products to maximize your recovery. In addition, Brian has represented folks injured by someone’s negligence, be it automobile collisions, chemical exposures or workplace injuries. Outside of work Brian spends as many hours as possible hunting and fishing and enjoys working with cattle and farming. He believes in giving back to the community has a strong history of supporting local county fairs, 4H and FFA programs, local school athletics and educational groups, along with various other local charities.
