Maibel Reyes was born in Cuba and traveled to the United States with her parents in search of the American Dream as a young child. Attorney Reyes graduated from FIU College of Law and began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney (ASA) for Miami Dade County. She handled hundreds of misdemeanor and felony cases as an ASA. Attorney Reyes was a successful ASA and fought for the State of Florida to provide tranquility to those victims affected by crimes, but she was fair and knew when criminal sanctions were not warranted.
