David is a Partner and leads the firm’s New York Office. His practice for the past 25 years has concentrated on litigation and arbitration matters for the securities industry. He has represented broker-dealers, registered investment advisors, and investment banking firms, and their principals and representatives in a broad variety of matters nationwide, including disputes alleging unsuitability, unauthorized trading, fraud, market manipulation, blue-sky violations, as well as a wide variety of employment matters, including litigation and arbitration over allegations of gender, race, and age discrimination and compensation and “raiding” cases. David represents clients in regulatory matters before the SEC, FINRA and state regulators. David also frequently represents clients in the state and federal trial and appellate courts in commercial disputes, including employment, real estate and trusts and estates matters. David has served as a FINRA Industry Arbitrator and a New York City Civil Court Arbitrator. David is admitted to practice in the State Courts of New York, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. David was previously a Partner in the Litigation Department of Blank Rome, where he had also been Associate. Prior to that, David had been an Associate at Skadden Arps. David received his law degree from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University in 1985.

He is a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar, the 2nd, 9th, and 11th Court of Appeals Bars, the Bar of the Eastern District of Michigan and the Bar of the Western District of Tennessee. He is also a member of the Northern, Central, Eastern and Southern Bars of the District of California as well as the California Bar. Ronald Richards has a storied and diverse legal career which makes him a seasoned Plaintiff’s attorney or hardened and savvy defense counsel. He knows the insides of both sides of the bar and his broad background makes him a lethal advocate who goes non-stop for the firms clients. Mr. Richards has litigation all across America. In the two years that followed, he won a 39 count Federal Court Jury Trial in the Eastern District of Tennessee and suppressed a large amount of MDMA in the La Paz County Superior Court in Arizona. In addition, he represents persons in the South East for slavery charges and has matters in Illinois relating to pseudoephedrine.

Mr. Richardson is licensed to practice law in the states of Maryland since 1987, New York since 1998 and the District of Columbia since 1993. He was a senior attorney with the Law Offices of Peter G. Angelos, P.C. where, for 35 years, he specialized in various forms of mass tort litigation. One of his most successful trial verdicts occurred in 2011. As co-lead counsel in a mass tort case against ExxonMobil Corporation, he represented 164 households and businesses in Jacksonville, Maryland, where potable wells were contaminated by a 26,000-gallon gasoline release from an ExxonMobil service station in 2006. The six-month trial in the Baltimore County Circuit Court resulted in a jury verdict of $1.542 billion in compensatory and punitive damages, one of the largest civil verdicts in Maryland history.

Salisu "Sal" Richardson is a Native of Miami, Florida, received a BS (Finance/Honors), a JD, and joint MA (Real Estate), all from University of Florida (Go Gators!). With Law School accolades from Trial Team, he began defending Employers/Carriers in Workers' Compensation claims throughout Florida. In Jan 2011, he was chosen to open the Florida office of Testan Law, the largest WC defense firm in the country.
