Josefina L. Valdez is a highly accomplished attorney with approximately ten years of legal experience. She began her career dedicated to helping underprivileged and underserved individuals as a staff attorney and later as the Executive Director of a local non-profit legal services organization. Her background as a legal services attorney gives clients a unique advantage because Josefina had to learn a wide array of practice areas and is able to apply that expertise to each case she works on. Additionally, she learned how to provide quality representation while maintaining a large case load.

Isaiah Vallejo-Juste is an attorney with eighteen years of experience in matrimonial and commercial litigation and has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for the year 2019, 2020, 2021, and recognized as a Super Lawyer in 2022 and 2023. In addition, Isaiah is also an adjunct professor with Marist College, where he has taught classes such as Administrative Law, Ethics, and Politics and Policy for the College’s MPA program since 2013. He has also taught CLEs for the New York State Bar Association in the area of matrimonial law, and has appeared on WABC radio news as an authority on legal issues. Isaiah has represented some of New York’s City’s most successful and affluent individuals in the area of family law, including, divorces, prenuptial agreements, support hearings, custody proceedings, family offense proceedings, appeals, and all other family law proceedings throughout the New York City metropolitan area. Isaiah often also taps into his substantial commercial litigation experience in litigating complex financial issues involved in a divorce. As a commercial litigator, Isaiah successfully litigated commercial matters against some of New York City’s most prestigious firms. He has represented companies and individuals in breach of contract, tort cases, UCC matters, and real estate litigations. Isaiah is also a member of the matrimonial committee of the New York State Bar Association and a member of the New York City Women’s Bar Association. He is a 2005 graduate of Albany Law School (cum laude) where he served as an associate editor of the Environmental Law Review and was Vice President of the Latin American Law Students Association. Isaiah is also a 2002 graduate of New York University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Isaiah lives in Bergen County, New Jersey with his wife and two children.

Megan Valles was born in Fresno and later moved to San Fernando Valley where she has enjoyed living ever since. She was later inspired to become an attorney by two things. The first was her love for legal drama tv shows like Law & Order. She loved watching attorneys present their cases and fight for their client’s case. The second came as a fortunate result to a very unfortunate situation. Megan was in a serious car accident and needed an attorney to help her take on the insurance company. Eventually, she found herself working for her attorney and enjoying the fine details of law and research. Megan did her undergrad at Cal State Northridge where she majored in sociology and criminology. After graduating, she enrolled in University of West Los Angeles, juggling a heavy course load while working full time at a personal injury law firm. Megan has gained valuable experience since becoming a lawyer at the Drake Law Group. She enjoys handling personal injury cases because she can deeply understand her clients having been in a similar position twice. When she isn’t fighting for her clients, Megan enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and running. She has done six half marathons and is aiming to do a full marathon in the near future.

Michael C. Van is an attorney licensed in the states of Utah, Nevada, Arizona and Texas and is a managing partner at our law firm’s Las Vegas office. Mr. Van’s law practice is both a transactional and civil litigation practice primarily operating in the fields of personal injury, real estate, commercialization, corporate litigation, construction law and estate planning. In general, his construction practice as an attorney involves contract negotiation, payment disputes, lien notices, collections, foreclosure actions, construction and design defect claims, contract claims and many other construction related issues. Mr. Van graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah and obtained his Juris Doctorate from the Whittier College School of Law. Mr. Van is a member of the Nevada, Utah, Texas, Arizona and Washington bar associations and practices in both state and federal courts. He has previously served as a member of the Justice of the Peace Pro Tempore Panel and the Coroner’s Inquest Panel. Mr. Van also serves as a board member for the Nevada Subcontractor’s Association and the Capstone Christian Academy.
