Sarah combines her passion for the law with compassion for clients. Sarah never saw the inside of a courtroom until after her first year of law school. This experience helps her understand and assist clients who are unfamiliar with legal procedure in a way that is more accessible and relatable. Sarah has successfully settled numerous divorce cases, resulting in a disproportionate property division in favor of her client. She has experience working with many local experts to value businesses and property, including in depth review of expert reports in order to negotiate and litigate high net worth and large asset property division cases. Sarah helps her clients concentrate on post litigation outcomes to determine priorities and a course of action that is specific to the client and his or her needs. With a focus on divorce, child custody, child support, enforcement, and modification of custody or support, Sarah has honed skills to walk clients through the family law system. She also offers effective and efficient mediation services.

Area of Practice: ERISA and Employment Jonathan Rose focuses his practice advising on matters related to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) and related employment litigation. He advises plan sponsors and fiduciaries of qualified and non-qualified pension and health benefit plans in compliance with a wide range of fiduciary duties required in the administration and investment of plan assets. He has also successfully represented clients in over a hundred government investigations by the Department of Labor, Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation and the Internal Revenue Service, among others. Jonathan also represents financial advisors, investment funds and service providers on Title I issues involving the structuring and marketing of investment funds, including venture capital and real estate operating companies, qualified plan asset managers, issuers and borrowers of credit and loan agreements, and issuers warehouse financing and administration agreements. He has extensive experience litigation in many areas of labor and employment law, including whistleblower claims against government contractors, federal and state wage-and-hour claims, and federal and state discrimination claims. He also regularly advises employers in the negotiation of employment and severance agreements and collective bargaining agreements. Some of Jonathan's notable experience includes representing clients in complex ERISA-related class action disputes in US district courts and other complex litigation matters; serving as first-chair counsel for Fortune 500 sponsors in stock drop and retiree health class action cases, as well as executive compensation litigation cases; and negotiating mergers of underfunded plans to avoid the imposition of withdrawal liability and excise taxes on employers through negotiations with the PBGC and IRS.

He has tried numerous cases to verdict and settled many claims resulting in hundreds of millions of dollars in recovery for clients, many of which have resulted in seven and eight figure jury verdicts and settlements. Among Michael’s successes include a jury verdict of over $13 million for a construction worker injured at his place of work; a verdict in excess of $12 million for a retired New York City corrections officer who was injured during her work at a hospital due to faulty construction work; and a verdict of $8 million for a woman injured during an auto accident. During one six-month time span, Mr. Rose tried three cases; each independently resulted in a seven-figure jury verdict. His cases are frequently included as among the top results in the state of New York by the New York Verdict Reporter. His jury verdicts and settlements are always amongst the highest reported in the State of New York.
