Carlos was born and raised in San Antonio de los Altos, Venezuela. At age 18, he moved to the United States because he believed that in the United States his dreams were possible if he was willing to work hard to achieve them. However, this decision brought struggles, challenges and achievements that have helped shape the attorney that he is today. Carlos began his studies at the LDS Business College, where he earned a Degree in Business and Accounting Certificate. He continued his education at the University of Utah, earning his BA in Political Science. While studying at the University of Utah, he also interned for the IRC (International Rescue Committee). He was even awarded the Pete Suazo Award from the Hinckley Institute of Politics for his outstanding work as an intern. Carlos attended Law School at Thomas M. Cooley in Michigan, where he graduated Cum Laude. To complete his education, he spent his last semester working for the Honorable Judge Thorne in the Court of Appeals of the State of Utah. Carlos is licensed to practice law in Utah, and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Area of Practice: FinTech Jaclyn has a great deal of experience in both the private sector and the public sector. She previously served as a District Court judge in Taiwan, after which she worked as IBM's Taiwan General Counsel. She founded Lee, Tsai & Partners in 1998 and specializes in technology law, M&A and investment matters. In 2013, Jaclyn was appointed as the Minister without Portfolio in the Executive Yuan (Cabinet) and became one of the few female ministers in the government. During her term, she was responsible for a number of inter-ministry affairs, such as the reformation of laws related to virtual world development, e-commerce, the sharing economy, digital convergence, the startup environment, open data, and the maker movement. Jaclyn returned to the law firm in 2016. She has been a committee member of both Taipei Smart City Committee and Taipei International Affairs Committee since 2017. Additionally, she serves as the Chief Consultant of Taiwan Virtual Asset Service Provider Association and the Chairwoman of Asia FinTech Alliance (AFA), the Honorary Chairwoman of both Taiwan FinTech Association (TFTA) and Taiwan Women on Boards Association (WOB.tw).

A. James Tsangeos earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Walsh College in 1982 and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Akron School of Law in 1985. Mr. Tsangeos was a staff attorney with the Stark County Public Defender from 1985 - 1986. From 1986-1991, Mr. Tsangeos practiced with the firm of Swan, Kodak & Tsangeos. From 1991-1993, Mr. Tsangeos was a member of Kaschak & Poulos Co., LPA. From 1993 through 1999, Mr. Tsangeos was a sole practitioner. From 2000 through 2017, Mr. Tsangeos was a partner and lead trial counsel for Lonas, McGonegal, Tsangeos & Struhar. In 2018, Mr. Tsangeos formed his own practice known as “A. James Tsangeos, Attorney at Law, LLC.” Mr. Tsangeos has litigated and tried cases in a wide geographic area covering twenty-four (24) counties, as well as numerous Courts of Appeal in Ohio. Mr. Tsangeos has argued cases in federal court and West Virginia. In his career, Mr. Tsangeos has tried more than 100 jury trials involving areas of workers' compensation, personal injury, medical malpractice, premise liability, products liability, police brutality, and business litigation. Mr. Tsangeos is a Trustee with the Stark County Association of Justice. Matthew Tuck is the CEO and Managing Attorney for The Appellate Law Firm. Matthew earned an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, his law degree from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law, and his BA in history and political science from Albion College. After law school, Matthew spent 17 years as a litigator in personal injury and commercial litigation cases, as an appellate attorney, and law firm IT director. Then in 2008, he pivoted careers away from traditional legal practice and into legal technology. He worked, first, as Litigation Support Manager for Honigman, Miller Schwartz and Cohn, an Am Law 200 firm in Detroit where he managed eDiscovery and large litigation matters. After Honigman, he as fractional CEO, CFO, and COO for law firms and startups.
