Maureen Abdelsayed is an accomplished General Counsel/Chief Operating Officer recognized for providing the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that companies have the proper operational controls, legal aptitude, reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow their organizations with optimal financial strength and operating efficiency. Ms. Abdelsayed currently manages the legal and business operations of Integrated Data Services (IDS), a premier Government contractor, delivering innovative financial and program management information system solutions to the Federal Government.

Alex’s primary focus is in Workers’ Compensation matters, where he has handled thousands of cases since 2005, appearing on behalf of claimants, insurance carriers, self-insureds, and municipalities at hearings and trials in Syracuse, Utica, Watertown, Binghamton, Rochester, Norwich and Elmira. Alex honed his analytical skills while clerking for Judge William Van Nortwick, Jr. on Florida’s First District Court of Appeal, as well as working as a Legislation Analyst for the Committee on Local Government & Veterans’ Affairs at the Florida House of Representatives. Prior to moving back to Syracuse, NY in 2005 to be closer to family, Alex amassed considerable litigation experience while participating in over 100 trials (non-jury and jury) with the Hillsborough County (Tampa) Public Defender’s Office. As a result of his prior opportunities, Alex is equally skilled in litigation and negotiation. He understands that the littlest of things can make the largest difference when it comes to leverage in a legal matter and prides himself on his attention to detail. Alex worked as a partner with a prominent Syracuse law firm for almost eight years, focusing primarily on representing carriers and employers in workers’ compensation matters. While Alex excelled and drew consistent praise from his corporate clients, he didn’t enjoy the work which left him feeling unfulfilled. Given that Alex has always enjoyed working with and helping people, he resigned his position in March of 2013 and founded his own law firm, Abdo Law, P.C., to focus his skills on providing for the needs of injured workers throughout New York state. In addition to running his own firm, Alex worked as Special Counsel to Kenney, Shelton, Liptak & Nowak, LLP from 2013 to 2015 and as Special Counsel to Habberfield Kaszycki until March of 2018. Alex earned his B.S., cum laude, in Applied Psychology with a Business minor from Ithaca College. He earned his J.D, cum laude, from the Florida State University College of Law. Alex is an active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Camillus, NY as well as the Optimist Club of Camillus, New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, the Onondaga County Bar Association and the Injured Workers’ Bar Association.

Benjamin is a seasoned trial veteran, with nearly fifty trials to verdict as lead counsel. He began his career defending the wrongfully accused, in cases from DUIs to homicides, and then switched to helping injured people obtain full justice in the personal injury arena. After a half decade at Morgan & Morgan, he joined The Pendas Law Firm where he fights for clients statewide. While working as a young criminal defense attorney, Benjamin also filed multiple writs of certiorari that led to a written appellate decision helping truant children throughout Florida (See. S.G. v Vurro, 77 So.3d 897 Fla 2d DCA 2012). He also successfully argued for multiple judgments of acquittal, and not guilty verdicts, even when facing minimum mandatory sentences in the decades. He then spent the better part of a decade honing his skills in the personal injury areas of practice, and has been victorious in securing multiple plaintiff verdicts throughout Florida. When he’s not helping people fight massive for-profit insurance companies, he enjoys nature treks and playing chess.

David Abels has focused his law practice on helping personal injury victims for over twenty years. He built his law firm trying hard to make every client happy by obtaining strong results being attentive their needs as well. David mainly works on auto accident cases, whether its a car crash, bike accident, trucking collision, motorcycle crash or pedestrian accident. He also handles slip & fall, premises liability claims. David grew up in Evanston, Illinois, attended undergrad at the University of Wisconsin, Madison where he played on the JV hockey team, and he graduated from the John Marshall Law School in 1994. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1994 and the Arizona Bar in 2010.
