James R. Haffner is a Partner with Kitson, Haffner & Hyde, LLP. His areas of practice include matrimonial and family law, estate planning and administration. Mr. Haffner, a College of the Holy Cross graduate, received his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law and has graduated from the Houston Family Law Trial Institute. During law school, Mr. Haffner was a staff member of the Fordham Journal of Corporate and Financial Law and a recipient of the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award, which he earned representing immigrants in housing disputes with predatory landlords. He served as a research assistant to the Honorable Evan J. Wallach of the United States Court of International Trade and a judicial intern for the Honorable Vanessa L. Bryant of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. Mr. Haffner brings his passion for service to others to his approach to family and matrimonial disputes and in assisting clients navigate the difficult legal landscape to reach the best result possible. Mr. Haffner assists clients in estate planning and administration matters including preparation of wills, living wills, healthcare proxies, and powers of attorney to effectuate a clients’ wishes. Mr. Haffner is admitted in New York and Connecticut and is a member of the Westchester County Bar Association, the New York Bar Association, and the New York City Bar Association.

George L. Halenkamp, IV is the founding principal of Halenkamp Law, LLC. While his practice extends to several areas of law, George’s primary fields of practice focuses on representing individuals in domestic relations matters and corporate services for private entities. George applies his experience in all stages of a legal dispute to achieve the best resolution for his clients. George L. Halenkamp, IV takes a realistic approach to his practice. He believes that honesty, communication and reliability are the building blocks that form the foundation of a trusting client relationship. He strives to vigorously protect his clients while maintaining a high degree of professionalism. George L. Halenkamp, IV is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois. Ms. Halickman has more than 15 years experience working as a family law attorney and was certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Family Mediator and the University of Connecticut and Quinnipica University School of Law Center on Dipsute Resolution. In addition to trying cases before a judge, she has negotiated and settled numerous cases from the simple to the complex and has drafted hundreds of marital settlement agreements both as an attorney and as a mediator. She is known for her professionalism and her strong work ethic. She consistently keeps her clients up to date on their cases, and provides realistic, practical and often creative and “outside the box” advice. Attorney Halickman is the eldest of four children who grew up in New Haven County, Connecticut. Prior to relocating to Florida in 2004, Ms. Halickman was a partner at Biller, Sachs, Raio & Bonadies, LLC n/k/a Biller, Sachs, Raio & Zito, LLC in New Haven, Connecticut. There she practiced family law, personal injury and employment law and remains of counsel to the firm. Upon relocating to Florida, Ms. Halickman decided to concentrate solely in family law and worked as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator for the 15th Judicial Circuit, Palm Beach County, Florida where she mediated over 400 cases, cases with attorneys and pro se parties, those without attorneys. Also during that time she studied for and passed the Florida Bar. Upon being admitted to the Florida Bar, Ms. Halickman practiced family and marital law at the prestigious law firm of Fox, Wackeen, Dungey, Beard, Sobel, McCluskey & Bush in Stuart, Florida. In July 2007, she opened her own law firm in Jupiter to be closer to her husband and school-aged daughter, Katie. Ms. Halickman received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University in New Jersey; her Master of Science in Health Care Management from Rensselaer Polytechnical Institute in Connecticut and in 1992 her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
