Ms. Halickman has more than 15 years experience working as a family law attorney and was certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Family Mediator and the University of Connecticut and Quinnipica University School of Law Center on Dipsute Resolution. In addition to trying cases before a judge, she has negotiated and settled numerous cases from the simple to the complex and has drafted hundreds of marital settlement agreements both as an attorney and as a mediator. She is known for her professionalism and her strong work ethic. She consistently keeps her clients up to date on their cases, and provides realistic, practical and often creative and “outside the box” advice. Attorney Halickman is the eldest of four children who grew up in New Haven County, Connecticut. Prior to relocating to Florida in 2004, Ms. Halickman was a partner at Biller, Sachs, Raio & Bonadies, LLC n/k/a Biller, Sachs, Raio & Zito, LLC in New Haven, Connecticut. There she practiced family law, personal injury and employment law and remains of counsel to the firm. Upon relocating to Florida, Ms. Halickman decided to concentrate solely in family law and worked as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator for the 15th Judicial Circuit, Palm Beach County, Florida where she mediated over 400 cases, cases with attorneys and pro se parties, those without attorneys. Also during that time she studied for and passed the Florida Bar. Upon being admitted to the Florida Bar, Ms. Halickman practiced family and marital law at the prestigious law firm of Fox, Wackeen, Dungey, Beard, Sobel, McCluskey & Bush in Stuart, Florida. In July 2007, she opened her own law firm in Jupiter to be closer to her husband and school-aged daughter, Katie. Ms. Halickman received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University in New Jersey; her Master of Science in Health Care Management from Rensselaer Polytechnical Institute in Connecticut and in 1992 her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law. Michael J. Hall is a 1997 graduate of North Carolina A & T State University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (cum laude). Mr. Hall is a 2002 graduate of Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, LA. Mr. Hall is admitted to practice law before all Louisiana State Courts and in Federal Court in the Eastern District of Louisiana. Mr. Hall served as an associate with the law firm of Weiss and Eason, LLP. There, he practiced in the areas of Medical Malpractice Defense, Professional and General Liability Defense, Insurance Defense, and Asbestos/Environmental Litigation. Prior to joining Weiss & Eason, LLP, Mr. Hall served as a law clerk for Judge C. Hunter King in Orleans Parish Civil District Court.
