Melissa A. Proudian graduated from Hoover High School in 1979. In 1986, she graduated from California State University, Fresno, and double majored in political science and philosophy. She went on to graduate from University of California, Hastings College of Law, in 1991 and was admitted to the California State Bar in 1992.

Since 1984 Mr. Pryor has specialized in representing debtors, creditors, and trustees in consumer and business bankruptcies under Chapter 7, 11, and 13 and related adversary proceedings, and workouts. Mr. Pryor has lectured on bankruptcy issues for: The St. John’s University Metropolitan College Tax Institute and Internal Revenue Service program for accountants regarding financially troubled taxpayers; the Nassau Academy of Law; the New York Institute of Technology and Internal Revenue Service Accountants Continuing Education Program; the Commercial Industrial Brokerage Society; and the Bankruptcy Committee and the Construction Law Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association.
