ANGELENA PSARAS is an attorney with the law firm of Vogt | Resnick | Sherak. Ms. Psaras’ practice focuses on business and corporate law, which includes providing counseling on a broad array of matters for privately held businesses. Ms. Psaras’ experience in her family owned business gives her a pragmatic business approach when working with clients. Ms. Psaras also has experience in various stages of business litigation from pre-filing investigation to discovery, motion practice and trial preparation. Ms. Psaras is licensed to practice in the State of California and in the United States District Court – Central District of California. Additionally, she is a Professor of Management at her undergraduate Alma Mater, California State University, Fullerton where she graduated with honors. Ms. Psaras received her Juris Doctor degree from Western State College of Law, where she was a member of the Dean’s Circle and completed a prestigious internship in Beijing, China. Ms. Psaras is also fluent in Greek.

Mr. Puga is a devoted and dedicated trial lawyer, nationally recognized in the areas of personal injury and medical malpractice with a keen understanding of medical procedures and standards of practice. Jim’s dogged determination on behalf of his clients and relentless pursuit of justice for those injured by the negligence of others has resulted in multiple multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. Jim won the largest medical malpractice jury verdict in the history of the state of Colorado, $17.9 million, on behalf of a child with brain damage. Jim has successfully tried, settled, or is currently handling cases throughout the United States, including the states of Colorado, Arizona, Illinois, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oregon, Ohio, Washington, and Wyoming and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. Jim was a University Scholar at the University of Denver, graduating cum laude and with honors in political science and history. Jim then attended the University of Denver College of Law on a College of Law scholarship, graduating in 1989. Jim is well-versed in all manners of personal injury law and medical malpractice, but has a specific emphasis on birth injury cases, representing babies and children who suffer serious injuries resulting in cerebral palsy. Jim is a past co-chair of the American Association of Justice’s Birth Trauma Litigation Group, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the AAJ Birth Trauma Litigation Group.

Kenneth R. Pugh is an associate at Kaplin Stewart with a practice focusing on estate planning, estate administration, tax law and general business matters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Kenneth’s estate planning work includes preparation of wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. He assists clients in responding to Statutory Notice of Deficiency letters from the Internal Revenue Service. He is well versed in estate and trust administration and has previously served as outside counsel advising corporate fiduciaries. He has helped traditional, blended, and nontraditional families plan for the future. Kenneth earned his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law. During law school, he participated in the Villanova Federal Tax Clinic where he represented taxpayers in controversies with the Internal Revenue Service. Before attending law school, Kenneth worked as a research biochemist in the medical field. His scientific endeavors have allowed him to develop the rigorous attention to detail that he now uses to help clients achieve their planning goals. Kenneth is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Grant Puleo focuses his practice on a wide variety of real estate, finance and business transactions, and leads the firm’s Multifamily and Student Housing group. He has extensive experience in a broad array of commercial, multi-family and educational facility (student housing) real estate transactions, including acquisitions, development, construction, affordable housing, P3, syndication, dispositions and specialized leasing and financing of all product types throughout California and the United States. Mr. Puleo's finance experience includes both borrower and lender representation in the origination and workout of complicated debt and equity transactions, such as acquisition and construction financing, mezzanine financing and synthetic leasing transactions. He also represents clients in business matters involving the transfer of business assets and property and the formation and restructuring of joint ventures, private placements, opportunity funds and other business entities. Mr. Puleo is also a seasoned trial attorney, having tried over a dozen jury trials and several dozen binding arbitrations and mediations involving real estate, finance and business disputes, lis pendens, quiet title and partition actions, as well as risk management and litigation avoidance counseling. Mr. Puleo has also testified as an expert witness in trial, binding arbitration and in deposition. Mr. Puleo is an adjunct professor of law at California Western School of Law, where he lectures on commercial real estate transactions. He is a member of the Advisory Board of Endeavor Bank and serves as pro bono legal counsel for various non-profit clients. Mr. Puleo was recently honored as a Top 100 Leader in Law by The San Diego Business Journal.
